Michael Olajide founded Kingsway Gym so that anyone can experience the sport of boxing in a friendly and safe environment.

As a formerly ranked boxer and Nigerian Lightweight Champion with 76 professional bouts under his belt, he trained boxers of every level, from actors and recreational; boxers to world-class amateur and professional fighters.

Kingsway Gym is a world renowned and highly respected full service boxing gym. When there is a big bout going on at Madison Square Garden, it is here that fighters come to prepare themselves and sign autographs, as did all the men in this photo prior to Don King's "Struggle For Supremacy".

Tom Kelly is a longtime Kingsway boxer who is also a writer. Some of the titles he has written are Empire Rising, Rackets, and Pay Back, and he is also best friends with Frank Shattuck (right).

Frank Shattuck has been a member of Kingsway for over 16 years. He became an actor through the friends he met at Kingsway and has gone on to play boxers in many movies.

Frank is a tailor by trade and makes suits featured in the New York Times that sell for more than $2,000. But what he values most are his best and dearest friends, all of which he met at Kingsway Gym.
